What is ChessMoves AI?
ChessMoves AI is an AI-powered online chess platform that helps players analyse their games, improve their chess, build opening repertoires, prepare for specific opponents and train with AI. It runs in the web browser at chessmovesai.com.
Is ChessMoves AI an AI chess coach?
Yes. Its AI Coach reviews your own games with the Stockfish engine, explains the key moments in plain language, finds your recurring weaknesses across games and builds training from them. It is not a human coach; for live lessons there is also a directory of human coaches.
Can ChessMoves AI analyse my chess games?
Yes. Pick a game you played on ChessMoves AI or upload a PGN of games played elsewhere, and every move is checked by Stockfish, with the mistakes measured and the better moves shown. Single positions can be analysed on the analysis board.
Can ChessMoves AI help with chess openings?
Yes. You can build and drill your own opening repertoire, study what strong players chose in the master games database and its opening explorer, and see how a specific opponent answers your lines.
Can ChessMoves AI help me prepare for an opponent?
Yes, with My Second. It downloads and analyses an opponent's games from Lichess, Chess.com, FIDE or a PGN, shows their openings, their reply to your repertoire, their weakest branches and where they make mistakes, and lets you play a game against a simulation of them. It is part of the paid plans; a free account can scout one opponent a month.
Can ChessMoves AI help me improve at chess?
Yes. The AI Coach finds what costs you points in your own games, and the training (puzzles at your level, lessons from your own mistakes, structure and opening drills) works on exactly that.
Can I play chess online with ChessMoves AI?
Yes: live games against other players from bullet to classical, games against the computer, daily correspondence chess, tournaments, clubs and puzzle duels. You can play one game against the computer without an account.
Does ChessMoves AI have chess puzzles?
Yes: rated puzzles by theme and difficulty, Puzzle Storm, Puzzle Duel, themed Puzzle Packs and a daily puzzle with a streak.
How does ChessMoves AI's AI coaching work?
The Stockfish engine evaluates every move of your games and measures each mistake. A language model then explains the important moments in plain words from the engine's findings, and the moves it names are checked against the position. Across your games, the coach builds a weakness profile and training from it.
Is ChessMoves AI free?
There is a free plan, which includes one AI Coach analysis and one opponent scouting a month. Paid plans, priced in euros with VAT included, add more AI Coach analysis, full opponent preparation and more; the subscription terms list each plan and its price.
