Subscription Terms

1. Plans & prices

Prices are in euros and include any VAT due in your country, which is shown at checkout.

2. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Lessons with coaches

Coaches set their own prices and are paid by their students directly. ChessMoves AI does not handle lesson payments and cannot refund a lesson: agree cancellations and refunds with your coach.

3. Renewal & cancellation

Cancel any time with Manage Billing on the Plans page. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for, then your account returns to the free plan. Your games and ratings are kept.

If a free trial is offered, it becomes a paid plan when it ends unless you cancel before then.

4. Refunds

As an EU consumer you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. By subscribing you ask for the service to start at once and accept that this right ends once it has begun, as the law allows.

• Cancel within 48 hours of your first payment, without having used paid features, for a full refund.
• A renewal you forgot to cancel: write to us within 7 days and we will look at it.
• Otherwise the current period is not refunded.

5. Price changes

We give at least 30 days' notice by email of any price increase. You can cancel before it applies.

6. Ending an account

We may close accounts that break our Fair Play or community rules, without a refund. If we close an account for any other reason, we refund the unused part of the subscription.

7. Law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. EU consumers keep every right the law gives them.
