Privacy Policy

In short: we only keep what we need to run your chess account, we never sell your data or use ad-tracking, and you can download or delete everything at any time from your Profile.

What we keep

Your account — your username, email and a scrambled password so you can sign in.
Your chess — your games, ratings, puzzles and coaching progress, so you can pick up where you left off.
Your profile — anything you choose to add, like a country or an avatar.

Payments

Paid plans are billed through Stripe, which handles your card details and receipts under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your card number.

AI features

Some features, such as game reviews and answers to your questions, are written by an AI service. We send it only what the answer needs: positions, moves, game records and your question, never your email address, password or payment details. It does not use them to train its models, and where it works outside the EU, the EU’s Standard Contractual Clauses apply.

Coaching and moderation

If you give or take lessons here, our moderators may read coaching material (studies, imported books, courses and homework) and may watch a lesson’s board and chat, unannounced, to keep teaching safe and good. They never see or hear video or audio, and every review is logged: who, what, when and for how long. See the terms, section 5.

What we never do

We don't sell your data, and we don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Export a copy of your data or delete your account whenever you like — both are on your Profile page.
