Chess training
Training in ChessMoves AI starts from what you need: puzzles at your level, lessons from your own mistakes, and drills for the openings and structures you play.
Puzzles
- Rated puzzles at your level, by theme, game phase and difficulty.
- Puzzle Storm: as many as you can solve against the clock.
- Puzzle Duel: race another player on the same puzzles.
- Puzzle Packs: themed sets to work through.
- The daily puzzle, with a streak.
Puzzle Storm and Puzzle Duel need a free account.
Lessons from your own games
Lessons turn the mistakes the AI chess coach found in your games into positions to solve, alongside tactics and pawn-structure drills. Your own chess books can come in too: import a PGN book and read it beside the board as an interactive lesson, then drill its lines.
Structures, visualisation and openings
- A library of pawn structures with their plans, and a question for each plan to test yourself.
- Visualisation training, from board coordinates up to blindfold play.
- Drills for your opening repertoire.
With a human coach
Coaches on ChessMoves AI teach live lessons on a shared board with video, and set homework and tests that mark themselves, with time limits, pass marks and penalties if the coach wants them.
