What makes it different

Opponent preparation sits beside your own training: the engine that reviews your games also studies your next opponent's, their openings are checked against your repertoire, and you can rehearse the game against a simulation of them. The explanations come from engine analysis and name only moves the engine found. And each feature says what it does not do: the simulated opponent, for example, says that it is not trained on one player and does not model their endgames.

The AI behind it

Stockfish evaluates positions; Maia-2, a model trained on human games, predicts what a player of a given rating would play; a language model writes the explanations from the engine's findings. More on AI chess.
