The hours you can usually be booked, in your own time zone (—). Students see this on your booking calendar; leave it empty and your calendar shows nothing bookable.
Students pay you directly, through your own link or bank account, and you keep all of it. ChessMoves AI never takes, holds or refunds lesson money: what you pay us is the Coach plan. Your links and bank details are shown only to students who have a lesson with you; your public profile says only which methods you take.

The positions your coaches set you: play your answer, write a note, and hand it in. Your lessons are below, to replay or download.
You joined a lesson from a link. With a free account your coach can set you homework and your lessons are kept here.
Create a free accountChoose a course and press Create: it is built now, a study for each step filed in a folder of its own, one step a week, a review at the end. Puzzle courses come from our puzzle base at the level you pick; pawn-structure courses from master games that reached each structure, the student playing the master’s moves with each side’s plans to go by; an opening course from its main lines, the student playing their own side. Enrol your students and the steps go out by themselves. Change anything afterwards.
Puzzles from our puzzle base, the most popular first and the easiest first. Tick one theme or several.
An opening's main lines, a chapter each, with the board turned to the side it is for. The moves and names come from the Lichess openings list; the ideas on the first chapter and a note on every line are ours, for you to edit.
The theoretical endings every player needs, a position a chapter, with the task, a note and comments on the key moves. Every line was checked against the endgame tablebase. The student plays the side to move.
Public or unlisted studies. A link to one chapter imports just that chapter.
The book's own chapters become studies and its sections their chapters, filed together in a folder. A book you import here also goes on your shelf in Lessons → My books, to read as an interactive lesson.
Its chapters are added to the lesson; your students see the first one.
Human-like, from 1100 to 2000: Maia-2, trained on real games at that rating, so it plays and errs as people there do. At their own level it takes the student’s game rating as each game starts (1200 until they have one). Outside that range Stockfish plays, held to the strength.
Every homework and test you have set, newest first, with each student's mark after penalties. A test that ran out of time is handed in with the moves played in time.
The student plays the side to move, as many games as it takes; the first one that meets the goal hands the step in, marked 100 less any late penalty. Our server plays the bot, so the result is its own. From 1100 to 2000 the bot is human-like (Maia-2, trained on real games at that rating); at their own level it takes the student’s rating as each game starts; outside that range Stockfish plays.

Up to 45 seconds from you over a chapter. Your students play it beside the board: in homework and course steps with this chapter, even those already sent, and on this study when you share it with them. In a test they see it once the answers are out.
Send it to your students (a message, an email, your Lichess or Chess.com bio): whoever opens it and signs in joins your students, and a free account takes a minute. A group has its own link that puts them straight into it.
Each card gets a comment drafted from the month's figures (lessons, homework marks, courses, puzzles), so checking one takes a minute. A comment you wrote is never replaced.
A unique access code will be generated. Share it with students to join, or use the Invite tool after creating.
Everyone in the lesson is told, and reminded again before the new time.
